As a person who uses our services you are both entitled and encouraged to make a comment at any time about any of the services that we offer.


Age UK Calderdale and Kirklees has an excellent record of working with and for older people and we like to hear from our service users with regard to any comments or concerns they have about our services.


Most of the time we get things right, but if things do go wrong, there is a procedure designed to address those concerns.  Most concerns can be sorted out by an informal chat with the Service Manager.


Any formal complaint will be acknowledged in writing within five working days of your complaint being received, and an investigation will be instigated.  We will investigate and respond within twenty-one days.  If it is not possible to comply with this timetable, the complainant will be informed of the reasons for this delay and a full reply will follow within a further twenty-one days.
