Opening Doors London recognises the specific needs of people from BAME communities. This role will help develop events and groups that are accessible and safe for people from those communities and promote and strengthen the relationship between ODL and people from BAME communities. This role will involve working alongside the ODL team and volunteers to develop new initiatives to meet the needs of our BAME members

Location: Across London - central office in King's Cross

Salary: Hourly £15.49

Closing date: 31 August with interviews on 11 September 

About the role

The LGBT+ BAME Community Engagement Worker will be working to engage with people from the older LGBT+ BAME communities across London.

 About you

  • Understand the diversity and needs of older LGBT+ people from BAME communities.
  • Have experience of setting up and running groups
  • Have experience of managing volunteers
  • Bring energy and fun to the role
