Setting up and facilitating creative, dynamic group activities that provide an opportunity for socialising, sharing and being part of the wider community.

What does the role involve:

The Dementia Wellbeing service aims to improve the quality of life of older people impacted by dementia and memory loss.  It does this by providing practical and emotional support, including providing reminiscence group.  We are looking for people to help lead and co facilitate groups across around the borough.

What will you get out of it

  • You'll be making a difference to the lives of older people
  • You'll gain knowledge and insight into issues that impact on older people’s lives 
  • You'll have an opportunity to build confidence and skills in engaging with people 

What is expected of me:

Have the confidence to lead or co facilitate groups.  These groups usually happen at various times during the day Monday – Friday.
