Introduction

A chance to socialiseAge UK Carlisle and Eden’s Day Care and clubs offer an all important day out for older people – an opportunity to meet and make new friends, enjoy the company of others and take part in a variety of activities.

We believe that our centres provide a safe and stimulating environment for our members and give many carers with an invaluable period of regular respite. Our aim is to enable older people to improve their quality of life and to help them maintain their independence and continue living in their own homes for as long as possible. We cater for all interests at our clubs and offer a wide range of activities and opportunities.

Our centres and clubs are located throughout the districts of Carlisle and Eden, and are managed and run by staff and volunteers. We are always pleased to welcome new volunteers to assist in our Centres. If you are interested and would like to know more about what this would involve please visit our volunteering page.
