Kat soared for Age UK Cornwall

On 21st May, Katrina Reynolds completed her Accelerated Freefall Skydive at Bodmin Airfield.
Kat had been eagerly awaiting her chance to jump since August 2017, but days of poor visibility or last-minute cancellations kept putting a spanner in the works. Thanks to her perseverance, and the crazy notion that jumping out of a plane seems a good idea, she managed to suit up and fall from a lofty 11,000ft.
Kat wanted to fundraise for Age UK Cornwall because of the amazing work we do and our ongoing commitment to fighting loneliness & isolation in Cornwall. Kat explained, "we are all now living longer than ever before, therefore, it is essential that we fight to improve the well-being of older people in later life, I hope this Skydive goes some way to helping the services Age UK Cornwall offer".
Kat has already exceeded £400, which will fund and support the amazing services that all our staff & volunteers provide across Cornwall. We really appreciate all your donations and cannot thank Kat enough for the decision to sponsor Age UK Cornwall & The IoS.
