Published on 16 October 2018 09:13 AM

A very special and exciting evening being organised by the John Casson Foundation.

Supporting 5 charities with 3 celebrity chefs and 1 helicopter, this dinner will be hosted at the Cornwall Air Ambulance base at Newquay Airport on the evening of Tuesday 20 November 2018.

The three chefs are:

Niall Keating, head chef from Whatley Manor, who has a unique cooking style that was awarded a Michelin star in 2017. He has definitely made his mark with his daring and innovative cooking, which gained him a Michelin Young European Chef of the Year award in 2018.

Chris Eden, who has been with Driftwood the Roseland Peninsula since 2007 and achieved his first Michelin star in 2012. He cooks from the heart, with his food reflecting his upbringing and family influences.

Guy Owen from, a beautiful Cornish hotel in St Mawes, who has been tipped as ‘one to watch’. With most of his family working within the food industry, and having been able to catch, gut, clean and poach his own fish since the age of six, he is now an extremely talented chef creating some stunning dishes with local produce.

The delicious six-course tasting menu, will be prepared in front of you, with each course served with delicious wine generously sponsored by Cornwall’s Ellis Wharton Wines.

The evening will be presented by television and radio personality Judi Spiers who will be asking questions of the chefs and their cooking skills will be filmed so that everyone can get a close-up of what is happening.

The event is supporting CHAOS, Cornwall Air Ambulance and their new helicopter appeal and local children’s organisations Penhaligon’s Friends, Active8, and Families For Children.

If you would like to join us and you are a UK taxpayer, we ask for a donation of £185 per person. For non-UK taxpayers or corporate bookings, for which we cannot claim the Gift Aid, we ask please for a donation of £230 per person.
