Vintage Fashion Festival
Truro School is excited to announce a special Vintage Fashion Festival, aimed at raising vital funds for Age UK Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, supporting people to live and age well in later life.
To ensure this event is a tremendous success, we are urgently seeking your help. We would appreciate it if you could contribute high-quality clothing, shoes, handbags, gowns and evening wear, and accessories from the 1960's to the 90s!
We have coordinated multiple drop-off locations with local hubs and any items you can provide would be immensely valued.
Event Details
- Prestigious Evening: The event will host a limited capacity of 200 guests, with tickets available via this link.
- VIP Experience: We will offer 50 VIP tickets that include a delightful ‘period’ feast!
- Entertainment: Enjoy live music from the 20th century and film clips to enrich the atmosphere.
- Professional Styling: Hair and makeup will be provided, and several 6th form models will showcase our collections alongside our enthusiastic volunteers.
- Glamorous Catwalk: Experience items of glamour and pizazz from the 20th century, being modelled up and down the catwalk - make an offer for your favourite items and help give them a new home.
- Comprehensive Programme: A vintage advisor will curate the event, featuring a catalogue with sizes, illustrations, and fashion notes.
We would love to receive your high-quality outfits that may have been worn at weddings or family gatherings, including ballgowns, smart casual attire, vintage jeans, suits and jackets for men, tweeds and plus-fours, fancy waistcoats, elegant evening wear, classic overcoats, hats of any kind, scarves, gloves - though we do kindly request no lingerie!
