Information & Advice Volunteering
Last year we helped people receive the benefits they are entitled to, this can often mean the difference between heating or no heating, eating a warm meal and staying independent.
We are searching for Volunteers across Cornwall who can support our team to provide free, confidential and independent information on a wide range of subjects including:
- Welfare benefits
- Consumer problems and rights
- Housing options
- Care at home
- Residential care
- Family and personal matters
- Accessing local services
We can help complete forms (e.g. Blue Badge, Housing/Council Tax Support etc. etc.), make telephone calls and write letters if needed.
If we are unable to help you, we will put you in touch with someone who can.
