This role is perfect for someone that wants to improve the wellbeing of individuals in later life. Food and refreshments are extremely important in the day to day running of Day Services; our aim is to provide healthy, warm and balanced meal choices for all our clients.

About St Austell Day Services

St Austell Day Service offers a warm welcome and a range of activities, including:

  • Knit & Natter
  • Regular trips & outings
  • Chiropody
  • Information & advice
  • Day Centre shop
  • Games & activities
  • In-house cook and regular meals
  • Church service

We can also provide transport to and from our Day Centres. Our belief is that each person must be supported to live the life they want, to the best of their abilities. Our friendly staff & volunteers are always on hand to help, assist and develop a tailored package of care.

Practical Considerations

We are looking for someone to help prepare the veg & cakes, serve refreshments and generally keep the Kitchen tidy.

Training: You will receive an Induction within the Day Centre. Ongoing training can be provided and discussed with Day Services Manager, Mandine.

Location: St Austell Day Services, 20A Bodmin Rd, Saint Austell PL25 5AE

You will be working alongside our brilliant team at St Austell Day Services and lovely Chef, Christine, every Tuesday.
DBS & references are required for all our Volunteer roles
