Little things can mean a lot

Sometimes little things can mean a lot. Here at Age UK County Durham we have a selection of jigsaws, books and DVDs in our charity superstore and would like to share them with our most vulnerable older people who have to self-isolate and have little or no contact with family and friends

Making a jigsaw, reading or watching a movie can be a great way of relaxing and giving our minds a chance to ‘switch off’ from worrying about Covid-19.

If you, or you know of anyone, who would like to receive one/some of these items, please email us at info@ageukcountydurham.org.uk and let us know what items would be of interest and who they can be delivered to (name and postal address only)

We are offering these items free of charge and will be delivered by our volunteers.
