Help at Home Shopping Support Volunteers are urgently needed in East Durham

We especially need volunteers who live or work in the following areas.

Easington
Wingate
Seaham
Peterlee
Horden

We are continuing to offer our support to vulnerable older people in County Durham who are having to self-isolate due to Covid-19.

We are recruiting volunteers in all areas of County Durham but specifically in East Durham.

Volunteers will, using their own transport, provide shopping and prescription/delivery support to older people living in East Durham and will be joining our well organised team of shoppers and will receive regular and ongoing support from staff at Age UK County Durham.

Volunteers will require Enhanced Adult DBS check for this role which will be generated online using a secure and confidential site.
