Make a difference by providing important information and advice to Croydon residents.

The Information and Advice(I&A) service is open to all adults over the age of 50 living in the London Borough of Croydon, including those with care and support needs, regardless of their health condition or disability, and their families, carers and professionals working with them. This role would suit those looking for a longer-term commitment.

We're recruiting for a number of Information and Advice related roles:

Benefits Outreach

Responsibilities: Assessing clients' benefits eligibility, and assisting with filling in claim forms, either in a client's home, or by telephone.

Information and Advice

Responsibilities: Giving information and advice on benefits, housing, care, pensions and other matters during drop-ins or appointments.

Telephone Helpline

Responsibilities: Answering queries and giving advice via our telephone helpline.

Administrative Support

Responsibilities: Supporting the Information and Advice team by managing inboxes, arranging appointments, phoning clients, evaluating the service, sending letters and emails, and filing.
