Creative Writing Group

This group is open to anyone over 50 who enjoys words and language, whether that is poetry, story telling or just the spoken word. 

You certainly don’t need any formal background in language to join this group. We offer a supportive environment for you to channel your inner writer.

Sometimes the group will use a selection of words as the basis for a piece of writing which is designed to stretch the imagination. We also encourage people to read their work out to the group which helps build confidence.

The group meets on alternate Fridays via Zoom at 11am.  Details of the next meeting will be advised once your request to join has been received.

New members are always welcome.
