Age Positive Week
Age Positive Week is Age Cymru’s annual celebration of all that’s positive about ageing.
We're delighted Age Positive Week is taking place again this year. The week-long celebration will take place from Sunday 29 September to Sunday 6 October 2019.
Being age positive is a crucial part of creating an age friendly Wales so why not celebrate positive ageing? We're currently planning this year's celebration, so please keep checking back for news.
Join us for our pop-up cinema event
We’ll be holding a pop-up cinema event in the Penarth Pier Pavilion on Wednesday 2 October 2019. We're holding a special screening of some exciting short films, the feature film 'A Walk in the Woods' and a lively discussion about the representation of older people on screen with Film Focus Wales.
Join us from 1pm - 4:30pm at the Penarth Pier Pavilion to enjoy some popcorn, great films and help us celebrate the positive aspects of growing older in Wales.
There are limited seats available so please let us know if you can join us on the day by calling us on: 029 2043 1555, send us an email or book your free ticket below.

How you can get involved?
If you have an event taking place during the week, why not make it an Age Positive event.
What's great about Age Positive Week is that there are no rules about the type of activities that can be organised, except, of course, that it involves older people. Events and activities can be organised by local groups, nursing homes, libraries, commercial organisation and individuals.
Why not let us know about your activities by completing our online events form
