We'd like to say thank you to all of our fundraisers!

We're really grateful to our event participants. There are of plenty of activities around the UK to take part in and fundraise for us. Here are some of our fantastic supporters and their reasons for choosing Age Cymru.

Daniel Hill - Gloucester Marathon
Care of older people is a cause that I am very passionate about and I’m aware of the work that Age Cymru does to improve the lives of older people across Wales. After deciding to run a marathon, Age Cymru was the first charity that came to mind and I’m proud to be supporting them in their work.

Kate Thomas - Rat Race Dirty Weekend
We are completing 20 obstacles in 20 miles for Age Cymru because older people deserve dignity.

Shakur Valentino - Snowdonia Walk
I'll be completing the Cwm Idwal, Ogwen walk! for Age Cymru because It's good to do things for others!

Gavin Thomas - Parachute Jump
Working at Age Cymru Gavin sees the valuable work the charity carries out and hears the stories of the people we help.

Rachel and Hayley

BethBeth, Annabel and Gaz - Cardiff Triathlon
It's really important to us that all vulnerable older people are cared for and treated with respect. We're proud to support Age Cymru's mission to help older people in Wales to avoid poverty isolation and neglect; we have been lucky to have fantastic grandparents and will be thinking of them as we do the tri!

JamieJamie Chapman - Great Manchester Run
I'll be raising money for Age Cymru, who provided my family with a lot of help and advice when my gran was taken into hospital last year.
