The Big Knit

Every year, an army of woolly warriors take up their knitting needles and crochet hooks as part of the Big Knit for Age Cymru and we want you to join us.

What is the Big Knit?

The Big Knit is a partnership with innocent drinks. We've been working together since 2003, asking you to knit little hats for the tops of innocent smoothie bottles. Every hat knitted raises 25p to help Age Cymru provide much-needed services and support to older people.

But it takes a lot of little hats to make a really big difference - that's why we need as many people as possible to get knitting! On this page, you'll find everything you need to get started.

How to join in

Choose a pattern - we've some new patterns for this year for you to try. You can download these from below.

Knit away - knit in front of the telly, or gather a group of friends and chat over the click-clack of needles.

Tell us your story - we'd love to send you a thank you card for your hats.
