Our new vision
There are endless ways to fundraise, if you know you want to do something but you're not sure what, we've got lots of ideas and tips to get you started.
Fancy dress challenge - Why not wear a costume to work one day (and invite your colleagues to do the same!) Or next time you meet with friends pick a theme and get dressed up!
Karaoke - Get together for a sing-a-long and have a collection for us.
Bake sale - Everyone loves cake, so why not hold a bake sale at work, or a healthier version if you're feeling good!
Sponsored personal challenge - whether it's talking too much, smoking or watching too much TV, everyone has a bad habit they'd like to kick. So choose a deadline and get sponsored to give up.
Bring and buy - Have a clear out and sell your unwanted goods; you could have a car boot sale, have a lunchtime stall at work, or even sell your goods on eBay for us.
Fitness challenge - get fit by running, dancing, holding a yoga session or even putting on a whole sports day- you can set your own challenge and raise much needed funds at the same time.
The best tip we can give you is to fundraise by doing something you enjoy - this means you'll be raising money for a great cause and having fun at the same time.
You can download our 'Support us' leaflet which has lots of helpful information.
Once you've decided on an idea you'll need to think about how to plan your event or activity, for more tips take a look at 'getting started'. Our fundraising packs have lots of useful information and materials like posters, balloons and sponsorship forms to help you fundraise, you can download a number of the materials or if you'd prefer a pack to be posted please email fundraising@agecymru.org.uk or call 029 2043 1555.
