Enabling older people to shape their own futures.
What dose community voice do?
We work on community development with people aged 50 plus to enable them to improve knowledge, confidence, self-esteem and to have a voice to shape their own future and the services they access.
We support the development of localised forums, a link to the older people’s council and offer practical support to the ‘Over 50’s’ groups on Anglesey.
We will be working within the six Model Môn areas to develop local forums in partnership with Porthyfelin Cyf.
The Community Voice project is facilitated by Medrwn Môn and a working partnership involving Age Cymru Gwynedd a Môn, Anglesey CAB, North Wales Regional Equality Network (NWREN), North Wales Advice & Advocacy (NWAAA), Groundwork North Wales, Llais Ni, North Wales Deaf Association (NWDA), Porthyfelin Community Partnership and Digartref Ynys Môn.
