Ian Thomas is Age Cymru's new Chief Executive

Age Cymru has appointed Ian Thomas as our new Chief Executive.
Ian Thomas is currently Director of Scope Cymru and will be taking up his role with Age Cymru on 2 December.
During his career, Ian has also worked as Director for Alzheimer's Cymru and Director of Services/Operations (UK) for the Alzheimer's Society.
Welcoming Ian Thomas to his new position, Dr Bernadette Fuge, the Chair of Age Cymru's Board of Trustees says:
"Together with the Board of Trustees and staff of Age Cymru, I want to congratulate Ian Thomas on his appointment as our new Chief Executive and welcome him to our charity.
"We are all looking forward to working with Ian and supporting him in his new role as he leads Age Cymru on the next stage of our mission to improve the lives of older people in Wales."
Commenting on his appointment as Chief Executive of Age Cymru, Ian Thomas says:
"I feel the time is right for me to use my knowledge and experience base to lead an organisation that I have huge belief in to ensure that the future for older people in Wales is as bright and secure as possible."
