Keep Well this Winter health tip 28 December

Published on 28 December 2011 08:00 AM

Each week this winter we're publishing a simple health tip to help older people in Wales keep warm, safe and well.

This week Joanne Bass, our Keep Well this Winter Coordinator offers advice on keeping your home warm over the winter.

Joanne says:

"We should try and keep the temperatures in our homes stable as sudden changes can be dangerous.

"The ideal living room temperature is 21C.

"To try and achieve this keep the doors to rooms you aren't using closed.

"Keeping curtains closed after dusk will help keep the heat inside the room."
