My Home Life Cymru conference

Life in care homes will come under the spotlight in Llandrindod Wells today.
‘Leading development and managing change in care homes' is a conference being run by the My Home Life Cymru programme.
It is being sponsored by Barchester Healthcare.
John Moore, My Home Life Cymru's programme manager says:
"My Home Life Cymru works with residents, relatives and staff at care homes across Wales to identify those things that make life better for them.
"The overall aim of this conference is to look at how to introduce evidence-based positive changes into care homes across Wales and developing ways to improve the lives of people who are involved with care homes either as residents, staff or families.
"We've got a packed programme for our conference and our speakers include experts from the Open University in Wales, the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales and Ruth Marks - the Older People's Commissioner for Wales."
The conference is being chaired by Victoria Lloyd, Age Cymru's Director of Influencing and Programme Development.
Speakers include Lorraine Morgan from the Open University in Wales, John Moore - My Home Life Cymru programme manager, David Francis, Assistant Chief Inspector of the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales.
Also presenting are Ruth Marks, the Older People's Commissioner for Wales, Professor Julianne Meyer - Director of My Home Life UK and Des Kelly OBE - Executive Director of the National Care Forum.
The My Home Life Cymru conference takes place at the Metropole Hotel in Llandrindod Wells at 9.45 am on Tuesday 27 March.
