Myfriends online week

Age Cymru is running Myfriends online week with our sister charity Age UK between 19 and 25 March.
Our Healthy Ageing Manager Claire Bottomley says:
"The internet has opened up a whole new world of communications possibilities for all of us.
"Myfriends online week has been created to reduce social isolation by helping and encouraging older people to learn how to use the internet so that they can keep in touch with each other and their friends and family.
"It's an ideal opportunity to find out about the social benefits of using the internet through social media such as Facebook and Twitter as well as Skype."
Local events across Wales during Myfriends Online Week will provide free training to over 50s on how to use the internet to communicate and keep in touch.
