Help support older people with dementia by volunteering
Want to kick start the New Year by volunteering? Why not offer your help to support vulnerable older people in Denbighshire?
Our ‘Scams Awareness Project' is looking to recruit six volunteers who will receive free training in scams and dementia awareness.
The project aims to help protect older people with dementia from financial-based scams by delivering workshops to older people and their families/carers in Denbighshire.
The sessions will provide practical information and resources to help make the participants aware of tactics employed by scammers and empower them to protect themselves.
