Published on 23 May 2014 09:00 AM

Wales' first ‘parkour' workshops for over 50s come to the Wales Millennium Centre on 30 May as part of Age Cymru's Gwanwyn Festival.

‘Parkour' is physical fitness and movement originating from France.

Welsh residents can take part in these free innovative and fun sessions specifically designed for the over 50s as part of the Gwanwyn Festival.

Age Cymru's arts festival Gwanwyn, meaning ‘spring' in Welsh, celebrates creativity in older age, offering greater opportunities for older people in the arts.

Creating a fun space for older people, ParkourDance lead these innovative and gentle sessions that bring together a mix of yoga, dance and ‘parkour'.

Emma Robinson, Gwanwyn's Coordinator says;

"We're so excited to hold Wales' first ‘parkour' sessions designed specifically for older people as part of the Gwanwyn Festival.
