Age Cymru has appointed Margaret Street to help us develop a range of new services for older people.

Margaret is our new Business Development Manager.

She will meet with older people to listen to their experiences and identify key services that Age Cymru and our local partners can provide for them.

Margaret's background in social care and housing, will give her a good understanding when developing the wide range of existing Age Cymru services.

Her extensive knowledge will also help with identifying potential new services needed by people as they age.

Margaret says;

"I'm delighted to join Age Cymru as Business Development Manager allowing me to explore new ways of supporting older people's lifestyle aspirations.

"This role will provide a great opportunity for me to develop a new range of services to continue our innovative work and develop new partnerships with different sectors.

"My key task is to identify where we can empower and involve Welsh residents in our work to develop activities and services that are important to them.

"I'm excited to meet with older people to hear their ideas and aspirations."

Commenting on Margaret's appointment, Claire Morgan, Director of Services says;

"We're delighted to welcome Margaret to Age Cymru as the new Business Development Manager.

"She has lots of relevant experience and we know that she will bring new ideas and inspiration to the charity to improve older people's lives.
