  Our advocacy projects ensure you have a voice and control over what happens to you.

• Age at Work

  Age Cymru wants to encourage and support businesses to build age-friendly workplaces where older employees can thrive. We have formed a partnership with Business in the Community (Cymru) to support employers through the Age at Work programme, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.

• Arts and Creativity

• Carers Project

  Older carers form a crucial part of our health and social care system in Wales and provide unpaid care worth millions of pounds each year but without effective support, carers can become exhausted and ill themselves.

• Care Homes

• Community Assistance Project

  This project provides support for older people to help them participate in and connect to their community with the support of trained volunteers.

• Consultative forum

  Older people are at the heart of everything we do. For this reason, Age Cymru developed the Consultative Forum to assist and advice our Board of Trustees on future policy.

• Friend in Need

  Our telephone befriending service provides a free weekly telephone friendship call for people in Wales who are 70 or over.

• In your area

  We have local Age Cymru's across Wales providing vital services to older people. Find a local Age Cymru near you.

• Project 360

  Project 360° is an innovative partnership project led by Age Cymru, working with Woody’s Lodge, and Age Alliance Wales members to support older military veterans across Wales.
