Hours: 20 - 30 hours per week ( to be agreed with successful candidate)

FTE Salary: £21,630 per annum

Actual Pro-rata Salary: £17,532 per annum for 30 hours per week

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31 March 2021. 

Location: Age UK Devon, 1 Manaton Court, Matford Business Park, Exeter, EX2 8PF with some occasional home working

About the Role

Our Active in Later Life Service aims to provide community based activities for older people across Devon that promote health and wellbeing, independence and reduce social isolation. 

This role will be supporting our Active in Later Life Manager to provide a range of community activities in Teignbridge. This will involve supporting our current community activities while also setting up, supporting and delivering new activities. Additionally the Active in Later Life Co-ordinator will be working in partnership with other key organisations to develop new joint activities. The role will also involve undertaking Train the Trainer training so the successful candidate is able to deliver Age UK Devon training courses. Moreover the successful candidate will be required to undertake First Aid training. The cost of both training courses will be covered by Age UK Devon.

Please note that this is a fixed term contract however we are in the process of applying for additional funding which if successful will enable us to extend the term of the contract beyond 2021.
