* The various games and activities don't have a particular start time, people have access to board games, cards, jigsaws, karaoke machine etc. all the time; staff and volunteers are happy to help set these up when required.

** The quizzes take around 45 minutes, but it could be as long as an hour depending on how many are taking part.

*** The Wednesday afternoon book reading/ story telling sessions.  Run from 2-3 pm, a volunteer story lady reads about local history, extracts from biographies, local ghost stories etc., and encourages clients to talk about their experiences and memories of childhood holidays, living locally during the war, local companies and industries they worked for etc.
