DAYBREAK - RESPITE FOR CARERS
PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR CARERS IN EAST GRINSTEAD & DISTRICT
At Daybreak we believe that with the best care and support, people can live well with dementia, life limiting illnesses and in older age.
We aim to enable individuals to maintain their skills and independence in a warm and sociable environment, whilst allowing carers to have a well-earned break.
Our social days involve group activities, stimulating games, a delicious lunch and refreshments. We pride ourselves in offering a tailor-made service with activities designed around the interests and needs of the individual. The service is ideal for those living with early to mid-stage dementia, life limiting illnesses and frail, older people. Our trained staff are also on hand to offer information and advice to carers/family members and point you in the right direction for other services and activities.
Our Saturday service:
1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, providing respite for carers from 10am to 3.00pm.
Arrival times are flexible, morning & afternoon slots available.
“The Saturday Club allows Mum time with people she loves and trusts. The stimulation is vital. The time apart is a god send. You love family but there is ‘room for breathing”
'" think the service was excellent for members and carers. The staff were kind and very enthusiastic and always looking to improve their service”.
