‘It’s been wonderful for me. It’s a relief for someone like me, who has no-one, to have the friendship and kindness from a voluntary visitor. Thank you for finding her for me.’

Voluntary visiting - The Service

Older people living alone and experiencing isolation are visited by volunteers who offer friendship and social support. Volunteers from all walks of life, including university students, make regular home visits.

Please note: Our service is currently closed to new referrals - please contact Caroline Aird our Services Manager for further support on  c.aird@ageukexeter.org.uk
