What is a charity raffle?

Our charity raffle provides you with a great opportunity to win an array of fantastic prizes while helping us support older people. Tickets costs just £1 and anyone over the age of 18 can purchase up to 60 tickets for any of our three raffles.

How does the online raffle draw work?

Playing a raffle online is quite different from a physical raffle. Instead of going to a raffle in person and buying a physical ticket, you will buy your raffle tickets online.

Each Age UK Raffle ticket costs £1 and you can enter up to 60 times! For each ticket, you’ll receive a unique number, which will be sent out to you via email upon purchase.

When the raffle draw takes place, winners will be chosen at random. This is done by an external lottery manager via a process that’s been approved by the Gambling Commission.

Must be 18 or over to enter. £1 per entry. Underage gambling is an offence. Late entries will be transferred to the next available raffle. 

Winners will be notified by post or telephone within two weeks of the draw date. First prize is £25,000 cash or a prize equivalent. Visit ageuk.org.uk/raffle/prizes for a full list of prizes available. Images for illustration purposes only, models may vary from those shown.

The promoter reserves the right to use winner's names for promotional purposes. These will only be used in summary e.g. Mrs Smith from Surrey.

In 2023, Age UK Raffles and Superdraw generated £1,159,679 from entry sales, with 14.81% spent on prizes; 61.44% spent on expenses; and 23.75% - £360,928.70, was spent directly on the work of Age UK. Based on the estimated entry sales for the Spring Raffle the chance of winning one of the 5,000 prizes is 1 in 106.
