As a volunteer adviser, you will give older people the information and advice they need to enable them to:
Information and advice typically involves letting people know about services, how they can access support, and referring them to other agencies and sources of help.
In preparation for becoming an advisor, volunteers are required to complete a recruitment process and take part in 4 to 5 days of training over 8 to 10 weeks. Once trained you will usually be asked to support us for at least 4 hours per week.
