Age UK Hammersmith and Fulham is a small independent local charity that relies on donations to continue operating. We are very grateful to those who have already donated to us.
The money you give is used to support older people in Hammersmith and Fulham. It may provide them with free advice on securing suitable housing or accessing their full benefits entitlements. It could provide someone who is lonely with a friend to speak to once a week. It might enable an older person to access low cost hot meals so they don't have to go hungry. Any donation you are able to give, big or small, will make a massive difference to people over 50 who live in the borough.
As so many people require ongoing assistance, please consider making your donation a recurring one. Giving monthly helps to ensure that people can continue to access the support they need and means your donation will have a much bigger impact.

£20 could help an older person have a one-to-one session with a digital champion.

£40 could help provide a benefits check for an older person, ensuring they receive what is rightfully theirs.

£50 could enable us to reach out to fifty isolated and vulnerable older people with a friendly call.

£120 could help us provide a day of activities to help improve social connections and reduce isolation.

Payroll Giving
Donate regularly through your employer and your donation will cost you less. The money is taken before you're taxed, so if you pledge £10 a month, you actually only have £7.80 deducted from your net pay. If you pay income tax at the higher rate of 40%, currently only £6.00 would be deducted from your net pay.

Select us as your Co-op Local Cause
Sign up to be Co-op member, select us as your preferred cause, and donate every time you shop at no cost to you! Whenever you scan you Co-op Membership Card, Co-op will donate 1p to us for every pound you spend on their products. It's a great way to make a difference, without having to spend any money you wouldn't normally.

Donate a prize
Many AUKHF events need prizes throughout the year, such as drinks, chocolates, bath sets, etc. If you have any unwanted items that might be suitable, please drop them at 105 Greyhound Road or our Charity Shop.

Do you need another reason to do more shopping? Well if you do, with Give as you Live you can send money to us every time you shop online, completely free! Just register on their website and start shopping at all your favourite brands (don't worry, with over 4,000 stores to choose from, they're all on there!).
