Electric Blanket Testing Events

Age UK Herefordshire & Worcestershire are running Electric Blanket Testing sessions across the county this October.
Staying warm over the winter months makes a considerable difference to older people’s health and wellbeing. As part of their continual work to keep older people warm and well throughout the winter, sessions will be held in Worcester, Droitwich Spa, Pershore and Evesham.
The four events will offer electric blanket testing by appointment as well as an opportunity to get information and advice on on home energy and safety.
The test costs just £2.50 per blanket, and anyone whose blanket fails will receive one brand new blanket free of charge. Please note that there is a maximum of one free blanket per booking.
Age UK Herefordshire & Worcestershire will be joined by Act On Energy, Herefordshire & Worcestershire Fire Service and other local organisations to provide advice and support. Refreshments will also be provided.

Worcester, Malvern Gate (WR2 4BN)
Wednesday 31st October - 10:00am - 4:00pm
Droitwich, Rugby Club (WR9 7DX)
Friday 26th October - 10:00am - 4:00pm
Evesham, Christian Centre (WR11 4AD)
Tuesday 30th October - 10:00am - 2:00pm
Pershore, Fire Station on (WR10 1HZ)
Thursday 1st November - 10:00am - 2 :00pm
