Changes to our Help in the Home Service
We are restarting our HitH Service due to the need for support with domestic tasks for those who have not had help over the last few months. This will be done with extra safety precautions in mind to ensure that our help is carried out in the safest possible way.
Our 10-3 clubs offer the chance to socialise and to enjoy a hot lunch with friends on a weekly basis and are a great place to meet like-minded people and make friends. At our clubs you will also have the opportunity to enjoy live entertainment, receive information and help to access other services, participate in a range of traditional activities or try something new, celebrate special events, relax in comfortable surroundings, exercise to music and learn new skills. The clubs also have regular guest speakers on a range of informative and interesting topics and go on trips out and outings as part of a group.

Our lunch clubs take place in a number of locations including:
- Hitchin, Letchworth, Baldock, Royston and surrounding villages
- Stanstead Abbotts
Age UK Hertfordshire also supports clubs that meet the specific social and cultural needs of Asian older people in the North Herts area of Hertfordshire.
In each centre you will find a team of friendly, supportive staff and volunteers on hand to welcome and assist you.
For many older people, this may be their first contact with Age UK Hertfordshire and so these clubs also act as a gateway to a whole range of other services offered through Age UK Hertfordshire and partners.
If you are unable to make your own way to the centre then we will arrange transport for you.
