Whilst we are able to leave home, some people may still be nervous to leave or hesitant on socialising with others. If you are not quite ready to explore outside as much as you did it is important to remember to keep active whilst at home. Staying active does not just mean completing a high intensity workout, it could be completing chair based exercises, stretching or even gardening.

Types of activity:

  • Light Activity - Getting up to make a cup of tea, cleaning and dusting, making the bed or standing up
  • Moderate Aerobic Activity - Pushing the lawn mower, dancing in your living room, or doing chair based exercises
  • Vigorous Intensity Activity - Jogging on the spot or joining in with martial arts
