Will Writing Scheme 2016

Writing a Will gives you the reassurance that your wishes will be met, and that your estate will be distributed to the people and causes that you care about.

Age UK Isle of Wight (Age UKIW) is proud to be working with local legal firms to offer all Island residents over the age of 50 a discounted Will Writing Scheme throughout March 2018 In return for a donation of £75 (Single Will) or £150 (Joint Will) to Age UKIW all of the participating legal firms will write you a basic will.
There are three local legal firms involved in the scheme this year, with staff from Glanvilles Legal Services, Paul Wheeler Solicitor and Walter Gray & Co. Solicitors generously donating their time and expertise.  
Simply check appointment availability with your chosen legal firm from our list below, once confirmed, click the Online Link: http://bit.ly/WillWriting2018 Complete the form and make your donation. On receipt of your donation you will be emailed a Confirmation letter, Will Planner and Certificate that you should present at your appointment.  
Below are our three participating legal firms. *Please note that your donation covers the writing of a basic will, for complicated or lengthy wills additional fees may apply and will be payable directly to your chosen legal firm. Please ensure you check availability with your chosen legal firm before sending in your donation, appointments are limited and are at the legal firms’ discretion.

Please ensure you check appointment availability with your chosen legal firm before completing the steps below and making your donation, appointments are limited and are at the legal firms’ discretion.

Your application and donation can then be made in the following ways:

  1. Online by visiting: Will Writing Scheme 2018 - Secure booking and payment form 
  2. Over the phone: with a credit/debit card by calling: (01983) 301343 or 301340. 
  3. By post: by sending completed Will Writing Scheme 2018 form (cheques made payable to ‘Age UK Isle of Wight’) to: FAO Fundraising Dept, Age UKIW, 147 High Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 1TY.  

On receipt of your application and donation you will be emailed a Confirmation letter, Will Planner and Donation Certificate for you to print out, complete and present to your solicitor. (Applications by post will receive this information by return mail within 5 days.)
