Age Friendly Island Public Forums
The Age Friendly Island Forums were established in February 2016 after a public consultation event. The underlying principle of the forums, taken from this consultation event is to give an opportunity for individuals to have their voices heard and to influence practice and policy within a range of different organisations.

Age Friendly Champion
The Age Friendly Champion program is a volunteer-based initiative open to all residents. Participants are involved in projects that improve the quality of life of older people. Champions assist in the aim of having older people actively contribute to the Age Friendly Island project activities, such as the Niton & Whitwell Parish minibus outings detailed below.

Kevin Berry: Local Age-friendly champion
Age Friendly Island Steering Group
The AFI steering group drives the project and includes Island organisations from the public, private and voluntary sector dedicated to driving forward projects that endeavour to influence strategy and policy.
