If you are interested in getting digitally connected but don’t have access to technology or are unsure where to start when choosing one to purchase, Age UK Isle of Wight can help.

Age UK Isle of Wight have a Home loan service, offering the opportunity to 'try before you buy' for a tablet or Ipad. AgeUK IW has a library of iPads and Samsung Tab A’s that we loan out to clients. These resources are available for clients to learn and develop their skills online. Our Digital Inclusion Officer and Digital volunteers are on hand to give you the support required to get up and running and at the end of your trial, our impartial digital officers can offer advice and help to make an informed purchase, thats right for you.

There are no costs attached to this so its an ideal way to have a go at something new and increase your digital skills for free!

As we are navigating our way out of the current pandemic, with some government restrictions still in place, our loan service can also be utilised to virtually attend on off events such as funerals, our volunteers can arrange same day delievry and collection and  will set everything up for you ready to watch.
