Age UK Islington Wellbeing Support

We’d like to let you know our core service is still in operation during the COVID-19 pandemic, albeit with some possible disruptions, as some of our staff are working from home.

  • Age UK Islington Helpline – 020 7281 6018, gethelp@ageukislington.org.uk, Mon to Fri, 9 – 5pm.
  • Guidance & practical support – e.g. debt, housing issues, support for unpaid carers, support to stay active & engaged at home.
  • Connections to emergency help – to access food and other vital supplies
  • Wellbeing calls - to check-in regularly with our clients most in need

We have had to make the very difficult decision to stop Age UK Islington social groups and activities, but would like to reassure you that Age UK Islington has refocused our operations to deliver the above Wellbeing support services.

We are supporting clients by phone, rather than via face-to-face meetings, during this time.  This means that our Contact Centre is not currently available for drop-ins.
