Age UK Lancashire Christmas Tree Collection

It’s that time of year already! We’re up in the loft, the candles are out, into the garage to find those lights. The festive season is well and truly underway. But we have a question for you.

Will you be buying a real tree this year? If you are then great keep reading and we’ll explain all about our Christmas Tree collection this Christmas and how we can save you from the dreaded trip to the tip!

Many of us love the idea of a real tree, choosing it at the field they're grown in, taking it home, the kids so desperate to wrap it in tinsel and sparkling lights. But then comes the mess, pine needles everywhere. The drama of taking it down and hacking away at branches to cram it in the compost bin or car.  We are here to take that hassle away, so why not book your collection today and support our vital work at the same time.

How does the collection work?

  • Book your collection using the link below
  • Make a minimum donation of £10
  • Complete your collection address details on the booking form
  • Leave your undecorated tree outside your property in an easily accessible place by 8am on Saturday 8th January
  • We will collect your tree and take it to the recycling centre
  • Enjoy the fact you don't have to chop it up or take it to the tip yourself

Why should I do this?

This is the perfect way to support your local charity this Christmas and do your bit for the environment and it's completely hassle free!  We provide vital services to local older people and rely on donations and generating income, so whilst we help you get rid of your tree, you really will be helping us too.
