Customer Services Advisor
Location: Lancaster office plus home working
Salary: £17477 FTE rising to £18018 FTE on successful completion of probationary period
Hours of Work: 18-25hrs per week worked flexibly covering Mon-Fri
Age UK Lancashire develops and delivers services for older people across Lancashire, Southport and Blackpool. We offer person-centred, quality-assured Information, Advice and Signposting amongst a variety of other services to support older people to retain their independence in later life.
Would you like to be part of our small friendly team of customer service advisors, we are looking for an organised individual with good communication and interpersonal skills, excellent IT skills and knowledge of MS office applications.
Offering high quality information and advice, to elderly and vulnerable customers, you will work flexibly, to respond to service enquiries via our 0300-telephone line, email service and other appropriate means.
- The successful applicant must have experience of a customer service environment alongside a person-centred approach.
- You will have the ability to navigate to relevant services both within Age UK Lancashire and across the community.
- Ideally you will have knowledge of the needs that face older people and their families and have a friendly and approachable manner.
This is a very rewarding role where each contact can make a difference.
The nature of the post will require travel across the area. A full driving licence, appropriate insurance cover and use of a car are essential.
