Our Chief Executive, Stephanie Tufft is shortly to step down after a stint of just over four years. Stephanie said, ‘I feel privileged to have served as Age UK Lancashire’s Chief Executive. I am very confident that the Charity will continue to go from strength to strength innovating and growing in key areas, thus enabling it to do even more for older people in and around Lancashire and North Sefton’ Under her leadership the organisation has undergone a complete cultural and structural transformation, developed ground breaking, innovative provision, including our integrated care services, and professionalised its management systems, processes and controls. Vivien Mumford, Chair of the Board of Trustees, said ‘On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Stephanie for all her hard work during the time she has been with us. She leaves us with a strong leadership team and a committed, values-driven workforce who will continue to progress our strategy and vision. She will make a positive impact on any organisation she works with and I wish Stephanie well in all her future endeavours.’ The Board are very pleased to welcome Sean Sullivan as Interim Chief Executive pending the recruitment of a permanent CEO. Sean’s qualifications for the role are excellent and we have no doubt that he will lead the organisation successfully during this transitional period.
