Age UK responds to the Government's price cap bill

The Government has introduced legislation to cap poor value energy tariffs in time for next winter.
Caroline Abrahams, Charity Director at Age UK said:
"The bitter weather forecast for the week ahead is a graphic illustration of why we need determined action to reduce fuel poverty. Price caps are a helpful step along the path, but we now look to the Government to come forward with other proposals to end the scourge of fuel poverty once and for all."
