Age UK Leicester Shire and Rutland is once again working with Leicester Hospitals on the Making Christmas Special campaign. With your help we would like to make sure that older patients who are in either the Royal Infirmary, Glenfield or General Hospital on Christmas Day get a present to make Christmas special for them. We are encouraging you to donate small gift bags with goodies in that are suitable for older people.

 How do I donate?

It’s really easy. Just get a gift tag from one of our shops, resource centres our Winter edition of EngAGE or you can download them here. Indicate on the tag whether the goodies are for a male or a female, you can also write a small message, then attach the tag to a bag and fill it with the goodies. There are a couple of things which we cannot accept as gifts for health and safety reasons. For more information on what you can give please go to Leicester Hospitals website.

 Where do I donate?

Once you have your gift bag filled with goodies and a tag attached to it just take the bag to any of our Age UK Leicester Shire and Rutland shops or one of our resource centres in Earl Shilton, Melton Mowbray or Leicester. You can also take any bags to the main reception at the Royal Infirmary, Glenfield and General hospitals. Please make sure that all donations are with us by Friday December 16th

Thank you for making Christmas special for an older patient who is unable to be at home this Christmas
