always someone there to talk to'Morrisons staff are voting for a new charity partner, and Age UK is down to the final two. If we win it will ensure we can be there for more of the chronically lonely older people in communities across the UK. All we need is for Morrisons staff to vote for Age UK! Whether you work for Morrisons, know someone who does, or shop there, you can help.

Let's combat loneliness together

Thousands of lonely older people visit Morrisons stores every day. For many, a chat at the till point might be the only one they’ll have all week.

1.2 million older people in the UK are chronically lonely – many are preparing to spend Christmas alone. Together Morrisons and the Age UK network have the opportunity to really tackle loneliness in every community.

How you can get involved

We need Age UK Leicestershire and Rutland's supporters to help us win this partnership. Whether you work for Morrisons, know someone who does or shop there - you can help!

  • Morrisons staff, we need you to vote for Age UK in your charity vote. You can do this through your annual staff survey in January. Please make your vote count.
  • Shoppers, family & friends, please ask Morrisons staff to support the vital work we provide in communities and vote for Age UK.
