How would you like to be the person in your area, that supports people to access the highest quality support and services, the go to person who gets things done? We are looking for active members of society that are willing to be the bridge between our charity and the wider community, to help achieve our main goal of helping all older people, to Achieve Life’s Fullness.
Our Befriending Service provides crucial support and companionship to older people who are experiencing loneliness and/or social isolation. You will be carefully matched to an older person with similar interests, and will simply spend time with them for a couple of hours a week. This service is life-changing for so many older people, and we are in desperate need of more Befrienders.
Whether it's along magnificent coastal scenery, or in stunning open countryside, there’s an Ultra Challenge for you. Walk, Jog or Run at YOUR pace, along with 30,000 others of all ages and experience, on the Ultra Challenge Series event of your choice. It will be rewarding, fun, and absolutely achievable with your resolve and determination alongside first class support, all whilst raising funds to support our vital work at Age UK Kent Rivers!

Our Meal Delivery Squad will bring you a hot, freshly cooked midday meal and dessert directly to your door. You can even add a snack pack for later, consisting of a fresh sandwich, crisps, chocolate/cake, and juice.
Our friendly teams in Medway and Faversham are here to help you with all your care needs. We treat each person as an individual by offering a personalised service, to support people with the same respect you would want for yourself or a member of your family.
The Capstone Dementia Centre provides a specialised day service to anyone with a diagnosis of Dementia, no matter where someone is on their journey. This also offers a day of respite for the family and carers for the person living with Dementia.
Our Mackenney Centre provides a fun and inviting space for people aged over 50 to get out of the house and make some new friends, take part in activities and games, and enjoy a two course meal. We have transport available for those who are unable to get themselves there.

The team at Age UK Kent Rivers is one that has been going for over 45 years. This means that over those 45+ years we've built up a high quality team of paid staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to provide the high quality service that our clients expect.
An important part of our donated income comes from legacies left by ordinary people who, after providing for their loved ones, want to leave something to a local cause they believe in. Some may have been helped by Age UK Kent Rivers themselves, or had an older relative or friend who has benefited from our services.
