Key safes are for people who have care staff visiting their homes but they cannot let them in themselves. People choose to have a key safe so they do not have to hand multiple keys out to various staff. They are secure and discreet and can be fitted to outside of your home. Key safes are currently used by over one million households in the UK.

The service uses a special type of telephone that enables you to press a button either on the phone or on a pendant you wear around your neck on a cord or on your wrist like a watch. Pressing the button sends a message to the contact centre. The contact centre will then make contact with you to find out what the difficulty is and provide help. For people who live alone this has been a lifesaving service.

Telecare is a service which helps to protect and support people in their own homes.  Sets of electronic sensors are installed in different places in the property. There are 1.75 million people who now rely on this service in the UK.  The service offers peace of mind and the certainty that there is always someone to help them in times of difficulty day or night. After an assessment and demonstration, telecare is tailored to your own needs and will trigger an agreed response for different types of incidents.
