About the role
We need to recruit several Gardeners to help older people in Milton Keynes look after their gardens. This vital service can make a huge difference to a person, taking the worry out of keeping the grass cut and the hedges under control. We aim to provide the support that suits our clients and enables them to make the most of life. Not all our clients are in poor health or disabled but they all benefit from the reassurance of knowing that Age UK Milton Keynes has their best interests at heart.
We particularly need gardeners in South West Milton Keynes and Bletchley areas.
We are looking for people with experience in gardening and a knowledge of how to look after shrubs and common garden plants. You must have empathy with older people and an understanding of the issues affecting older people. To get the best out this job you will need to be flexible and adaptable with a good personal manner. This is a great opportunity to stay active, work outdoors and enjoy making a positive difference to your clients' lives.
