Sue and Lorna were thrilled to meet charming Charlie Ross

We appreciate every donation of clothing and bric-a-brac to our shops

When Paul Griffiths spotted that the BBC's Flog It! team was bringing the show to Bletchley Park, he alerted colleagues.  Our shop managers and their staff had a good look through the recent donations to their shop, and Maggi Clark spotted a pair of fancy pink vases - perfect for taking to the Flog It! valuation day.

Shop Manager Lorna Howson and volunteer Sue Smith gamely agreed to appear on national television and before we knew it, £310 (less commission and other charges) was raised!  The programme was broadcast to the nation on Friday 24th March 2017.

And, of course, we are hugely grateful to the anonymous, generous person who kindly donated a pair of French vases to a local charity.  They are owed our eternal gratitude.

Every penny raised by the sale of items in our shops and furnitures stores is vital.  Without this income we would not be able to provide the support and sevrices that make a difference to thousands of older people and their families every year.
